It is great to have a job that you love to do as a hobby.... Keep it up... As for me, mypictureperfectart(dot)com is a new establishment and right now we do photography on the side but like you said it is a hobby. We just began our business and we really would like to begin doing weddings? Any ideas or best practices?? Whats the best way to gain clients??

wedding photography can be lucrative, but if your going to go at it with a hobby mentality you wont last. it may be more of a side job. Theres more to being a photography pro than taking pictures, you need to dedicate yourself to the business time, and that takes a lot of time.
