tamron 18-200 or 18-270 for Nikon D3300?

I am looking to purchase a new "walk around" lens for my Nikon D3300 to replace the kit lens. Is there any major difference between these 2 lenses that would be obvious to a relative "newbie" such as myself?? Thanks!

I was going to suggest comparing the reviews at dpreview.com, but apparently they reviewed only the 18-270 version.

I have the 18-200 (for Canon) so I can't do a comparison.
