I have a question regarding the date stamps you would sometimes see on old 35mm slides. How are the date stamps generated? Are they created by the camera as soon as the shutter is pressed, are they inscribed when the slide is taken to your local 'Supasnaps' (remember those?) for processing, or are they created in some other way?
