A New Neophyte Question

hello all,

i have an OLD minolta "freedom family zoom" 35mm camera that still takes xlnt pictures.
can pictures taken w/ this camera be transferred/changed to digital pix ? i want to use my canon 3-in-one (printer/scanner/copier) to send the pix via email.

i have a nikon digital camera, but i like the quality of the old minolta...

I use a 35mm scanner. It's a Nikon CoolScan V and it works brilliantly. I have 95% of my 35mm negatives scanned in and converted to TIF. I have found this is much better than scanning printed photos.
